TWO Selkirk men have been remanded in custody for a second time following police recovery of cannabis, which officers say had a street value of £8,000.
Kevin Laidlaw, 21, of Buccleuch Road and Robert McIlvaney, 20, of Ettrick Road, appeared on petition in private before Sheriff Kevin Dummond at Duns Sheriff Court on Wednesday.
Allegations include possession and supply of the Class C drug on September 22 on the road between Hawick and Roberton.
Neither men made any plea or declaration.
Two other Selkirk men who appeared from custody with Laidlaw and McIlvaney at an earlier court hearing on similar charges are currently free on bail.
