Selkirk High School pupil Nicola Watt joins more than 150 young musicians from schools across the Borders in the Victoria Halls yesterday for Traditional Music Day, an event organised by Selkirk High to promote traditional and folk music among young people.
Fiddlers, guitarists, trumpeters and pipers got together with other musicians for the event, which culminated last night in a special public concert. Full story page five. Photograph: Alastair Watson
